INAUGURAL USA PHEASANT HUNT AND FEED

October 10, 2009 the USA Inaugural Pheasant Hunt & Feed is a huge success for all involved with (16-4 man teams) 64 hunters arriving early and on time.  Absolutely no glitches, not one complaint, and to my knowledge, everyone had a great time.  Truth be told, no event that I've ever produced or associated with, and the event numbers are significant, (none) had ever evolved and come to fruition as smoothly as this one did.  Most importantly, everyone that I spoke with, and I mean everyone, indicated that they wanted to come back next year.  Most significantly, Union sportsmen that hunted upland birds for the first time, indicated that upland hunting would now be added to their regular autumn activities. Truly, a great day, the rain ceased early in the morning and the sun shined on the pheasant fields , this USA event, as well as all Union sportsmen at Elkhorn Hunt Club yesterday.

A tip of my USA hat to all USA Sportsmen and respective locals that participated in this Inaugural event, to Gander Mountain, and to Sam, Peg, Elkhorn staff and their dogs for the all that they did to make this a successful Inaugural event - assuring that there will be a 1st Annual Pheasant Hunt & Feed at Elkhorn in 2010...."A Must Attend."

As always, proud to be a Union Sportsman.  Even more proud of every Union sportsmen and the way that they conducted themselves in the fields and in the clubhouse Saturday at Elkhorn.
