2007 IBEW COPE CONTRIBUTIONS

2007 was an off year in election cycles and IBEW Cope contributions 2002 still holds the record of $9,446,411 in contributions to our Cope Fund. 2007 had some impressive figures especially in the 4th district as follows:

National IBEW Cope contributions--------------------- $7,197,871 or $10.29 per member

The 4th District raised------------------------------------- $1,010,924 or $18.98 per member

This not only exceeded the national goal of $10.00 per Member but also far exceeded any other District per Member contribution.  All of our Local Unions who have participated (55) should be proud of this accomplishment.  Please thank all our Sisters and Brothers for their participation.

The following are the State-by State totals by per Member Contributions:

Thank you to all the locals that participated in 2007. We have 106 Local Unions in the Fourth District.  Fifty five (55) participated in the IBEW Cope Program last year.

I would venture to say all 106 locals benefitted from the efforts of those 55 Local Unions and their Membership.
