Health Care Reform - The Senate has passed a health care reform bill, and the Senate and House bills will go into conference committee to merge the bills. The Senate bill contains provisions to tax "Cadillac" plans, which would encompass most of the plans we have bargained with our employers. It is important that individual members call or e-mail their Senators to voice their opposition to this provision, and also to call for a viable public option in the final bill.
