Bargaining Update 6 - June 10, 2009

Bargaining continued yesterday June 9th and is currently in process today.

Yesterday, the issue of job security/force adjustment was discussed at length. The Union bargaining team is focused on making improvements to our current job security/force adjustment language. A bargaining subcommittee has been created to address this important and complex issue. Tentative agreements were reached on some minor items. Meetings are also taking place at both the national and local bargaining tables.
