AT&T Bargaining 2009

Bargaining Update 17 - July 1, 2009 - 10:57 AM Central Time

Bargaining with AT&T continued late into the evening last night with meetings at the National and Local tables as well as in sub-committees. 

A wide variety of issues were discussed including Contracting Out, Vacation Time, Job Security, EWDs, Customer Consultant, Grievance Procedure, and Prem Tech.  Some progress has been made on some issues as our Union Bargaining teams attempt to narrow the issues that are in dispute.  However, major issues still remain unresolved such as Benefits, Prem Tech, Customer Consultant and others.  Bargaining resumed this morning at both the National and Local Bargaining Tables.
