The Unions met with the Company today at 10:00 am. The Company provided some of the data information requested by the Union. The Company also passed a counter to the Unions proposal on the Savings Plan. The Unions presented a counter proposal on the Academic Awards Program and a new proposal on the Avaya Career Transition Option Program (ACTOP)

The Unions were informed that the Company will have a counter to the Unions certification/job security proposal Friday afternoon. The bargaining chairs for the Unions reiterated once again to the Company that we are about jobs and we cannot begin to fix their problems until we have some sort of job security.
