Avaya Bargaining Update 4 - May 5, 2009
The IBEW and CWA joint bargaining team made it very clear to the company that the Unions were not interested in bargaining anything that would be retrogressive and are looking to improve our current agreement.
The company in their opening statement informed the Unions that their “comprehensive package will be substantially less”.
We are expecting an economic proposal from the company tomorrow and an update will follow
