Avaya Bargaining Update 8 - May 13, 2009
Today the IBEW subcommittee bargaining team met with the company to improve and add articles in the existing agreement.
The following were presented;
- Successorship clause
- GPS language
- On-call payments
- Return to work overtime language and payments
- Article 24 in lieu of payments
- Moving expenses
- 3% language
- Illinois wage zone and Chicago allowances
- Local 134 per diem
- Termination payment language
On Thursday the joint IBEW/CWA medical subcommittee will meet in the morning. In the afternoon the entire IBEW/CWA bargaining team will finalize couterproposals for Friday's bargaining session.
