To the office staff and elected officers, who tirelessly worked to ensure that Brotherhood ideals and principles were strengthened in our locals area;

To the Pension Fund trustees, who diligently worked in these uncertain times to give the members a 20 percent increase in the pension;

To the Executive Board, who recently completed an up-grading and improvement to our hall;

To the members, who welcomed the many new members of the approximately 30 companies that were organized latelyYour friendship was appreciated;

To the new members, who thrived in this atmosphere and contributed to our ongoing success

May Local 586 long continue in this positive direction.

L.U. 596 (i,o,u&t), CLARKSBURG, WVThe work picture for our local is still very slow, with many brothers and sisters on the road. We hope they can come home to work soon.

The new Longview Power House in the Morgantown area and the new United Hospital Center in Clarksburg could get started in 2005. Ongoing projects are the Ruby Hospital project, the new Target Store in Morgantown, the WVU Coliseum project in Morgantown, the I.S.R. building in Fairmont, and the Tygarts Valley regional jail in Elkins.

Many future projects are calling for 30-hour OSHA certification. Our members are taking advantage of the training classes (see photo).

Lets not forget those brothers and sisters in harms way over the holidays. Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
