VERIZON TALKS TO CONTINUE MONDAY
AFTER RECESS FOR THE NIGHT
Negotiators for the Communications Workers
of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
reported progress Sunday in negotiations with Verizon but recessed
without yet reaching an agreement. Talks are scheduled to resume at
10 a.m. Monday.
While the negotiations process continues,
union members remain on the job until further notice.
Separate discussions are also underway
on local issues.
