IBEW negotiators at the Verizon talks made the following statement Tuesday evening:

"Bargaining resumed today with united CWA/IBEW bargaining teams sitting at common tables in Rye, New York and Washington, D.C.

The unions stressed the importance of job security, pension and wage increases, as well as a renewed call for a contract.
