Work Outlook : Work remains steady in our area Bp is on schedule for all Major TARs this year. Mostly consisting of the DDU, SRU,12PS,and Coker. We can start to expect some manpower increases this May for some of these projects. Along the Lakefront Cleveland Cliffs and USS continue to do scheduled maintenance and small shutdowns. USS has a 10- day outage scheduled mid- April which I can expect to see some calls for. Cargill will also continue with some of their capital projects and scheduled maintenance. Huhtamaki has plans for a second state-of-the-art production line this summer. Praxair is continuing with their Electrical Infrastructure upgrade. The West Lake Corridor and NICTD projects are moving along with ongoing electrical work at multiple rail stops throughout the region. On the commercial side of things, both Franciscan and Community Hospitals have plans for 2 Cancer Centers to start construction this year. The Franciscan in Munster is expanding upwards 3 floors to accommodate the ever-growing demand for healthcare. The new YMCA building in Hammond is underway and there will be ongoing work for this year.
