Our Dispatcher/Assistant Business Rep. is Brother Mark Long. You can sign our books from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We have a 30 day resign, and you can send it by certified mail/e-mail fax or in person, phone call follow up on all e-mail and fax re-sighn is required. We operate a day book type of referral procedure, and call-out is at 10:00 a.m. when jobs are available. We have a job line where you can hear any jobs available. The job line comes on after 4:30 PM daily an all weekend. The number is 865-524-8638. We also operate a toll free number for the brothers and sisters outside of our area code. The Work out-look here is bleak. Have had several layoff's that have put local members on book 1. Other than a small outage we do not expect anything. We have 265 on book 2.

$27.08 Scale is NECA rate. Assessments 2% LU, 1.5% EIAP TVA scale is $24.27 This board was updated 8_9_2009, NECA Wage rates effective 4_1_2009, TVA Rates effective 01_01_2009. We currently have 241 JW's on book 1 and 658 on book 2. Volkswagen has started construction in Chattanooga. We anticipate staffing to increase there late summer 2009. We do not anticipate Book 2 calls until Fall 2009 at the earliest. Other large projects in our jurisdiction: Watts Bar Nuclear Plant - slow in hiring. Should pick up late summer; Alstom - slow progress, may hire late in the Fall.

There are (107) on book one and (41) on book two. There are(5)regular calls for Wednesday 12 August, 2009. The (5) regular calls are to Fisk Electric at the Round Rock School of Nurseing. A state license and drug free work card will be required. Also Fisk requires a drug test prior to hiring.
