There is a constant demand for telecommunications workers but the best jobs –the ones that become careers-- are only open to people who understand the industry’s rapidly changing technology.
One of the best ways to stay up-to-date is through the
programs at the National Coalition for Telecommunications Education and Learning,
a program created by the IBEW, the Communications Workers of America and the telecommunications
industry.
NACTEL’s education programs are completely online and run by Pace University, named by U.S. News and World Report as the top online bachelor’s degree program in the country.
Pace University and NACTEL staff are holding a virtual open house Feb. 7. Spots are filling up; register today.
IBEW members get discounted access to a variety of degree programs. Interested in business? Follow a cybersecurity career track related to IT auditing, compliance, and risk. Does criminal justice pique your interest? Explore cryptography or a career track related to computer/digital forensics.
Classes are scheduled to work for working people and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. New courses start five times a year. Many programs are even covered by employer tuition reimbursement programs and students can also apply for federal student aid.
